Philanthropic Excellence for the 2008-2009 School Year
The Zeta Pi chapter received an award for recognition of philanthropic excellence during the 2008-2009 school year. Elite groups received this award and are considered the top 16 chapters in the nation for 2008-2009 based on the specific philanthropic criteria listed in the letter. Region Day 2009 Awards
- Congratulations! The Zeta Pi chapter earned back the Pride of the Regional Award!
- We also won the Philanthropy Award for most money raised.
- The chapter made a large contribution of t-shirts, socks and toiletries to the Regional Philanthropic initiative for Project Adventure.
- Academics: Congratulations to Kellie Humphrey and Brittany Scrudder who both won dangles for highest New Member GPA, both with a 4.00.
- Also congratulation to our highest initiate GPA ....Whitney White with a 3.94!
- 1902 Circle: ZP is the highest chapter IN THE NATION for participation in the 1902 Circle.
Other Awards Received
- 22 consecutive years of making QUOTA
- 10 consecutive years of making CAMPUS TOTAL
- Certificate of Excellence in Philanthropy
- Margaret Huenefeld Pease Award (awarded for giving money to local philanthropies along with hours of participation.)
- Crest Award: There were only 4 other chapters who received this award at this convention! This it the second highest honor you can receive at convention!! The definition of this award is: Council Crest Awards shall be given to outstanding chapters which have consistently excelled in all areas of college programming. The awards recognize those outstanding collegiate chapters which have maintained fine records of achievement and may be awarded to the same chapter at successive National Conventions for continuing excellence.
