Sisterhood

Each month an exciting sisterhood activity is planned. The following are some of the most memorable events last year:

DZ Supper Club

Our girls meet at the house every Sunday so that girls from different grades can get together to eat dinner. The dining halls and our house do not serve dinner on Sunday nights, and so it is a great way for our girls to meet new people within the sorority and make new friends!

Big Sister/Little Sister

This annual event reveals the identity of the Big Sister (usually a sophomore) to their Little Sister (usually a freshmen). The big sisters take yarn and string it all around the house with clues attached for their Little Sisters! At the end of the string and after all of their clues, they find out their Big Sisters! It is so much fun for the Big and Little sisters!

Campus Scavenger Hunt

Also an annual event, the scavenger hunt takes us all over the UGA campus and Athens. We split off into teams and follow the clues that lead to places such as the Varsity, the Arch, and even the football team!

Ice Cream Social

Who doesn’t love all the ice cream you can eat with as many toppings as you can imagine!

Family Pumpkin Carving

Each October for Halloween, we have our annual Pumpkin carving! Each family of girls picks out a pumpkin and designs it for our front porch! It is a great way for the sisters to bond, and for the new members to get to know all of the members in their family more!
